Tired of working for a huge business, where red tape dictates process, and you only get to know faces, not people?

Our client is an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) contractor that specialises in small to medium-sized solar farm projects, typically 5-10MW.

Whilst they aren't working at the big end of town, working on the smaller projects means that they fund their own developments, manage the developments through engineering and construction, and they own, operate, and maintain them thereafter.

This means that you aren't governed by the red tape of a big corporation. You can have the freedom to be yourself and have an influence over the growth of the business. You will know the name of everybody you work with, and 'be part of the family'. They are a social bunch, and they believe that there's more to life than just work and that you should have fun while you're doing it. Flexibility and hybrid working are there if you need them, although project requirements may mean that it's not guaranteed.

After spending the last 2 years in the 'development phase', they now have over 15 sites Australia-wide ready for construction, aiming to deliver 4-6 solar farms a year for the foreseeable future.

They are now recruiting for a Control Systems Engineer to join the team in Mascot.

The day-to-day will include the development, configuration and installation of PLC, HMI and SCADA programs, documenting automation test criteria and development processes, as well as overseeing the commissioning, testing and installation.

For this role, you'll have at least 5 years' experience of working in a similar role, within an EPC environment.
