Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are proud to be supporting a well-known Australian building services practice in the recruitment of several key positions. Our client has experienced organic growth over the last 5 years, becoming a consultant of choice for some of the largest developers around. They pride themselves on their ability to be truly consultative whilst offering innovative and sustainable solutions. They are now hoping to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the design of complex HVAC systems such as chilled water, cooling towers, air handling and heat recovery units
• Managing small to large scale projects from development of scope to handover
• Mentoring and guiding junior and intermediate engineer across mechanical engineering and coordinating other service
• Providing QA to the design team
• Attending client meetings and building relationships with project stakeholders

What are they looking for?

• Experience in a similar position, within the building services environment (either with a consultancy or contractor 
• Good understanding of design concepts, the BCA and Australian standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in working with AutoCAD and Revit preferred but not essential
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering
• CPEng and/or NER or working towards
