Senior Fire Safety Engineer

Our client is a specialist building services consultancy with offices along the eastern seaboard. With over 10 years in the industry, they have built a team of over 160 talented engineers and key industry relationships that has led to repeat business and been engaged as consultant of choice on a range of iconic projects. 

They are in the unique position of having the capability to compete at the big end of town whilst remaining smaller enough to keep a boutique and consultative approach.  

What they can offer you

• Salary $120,000 – 150,000
• Opportunity to take on project lead responsibilities early on, and develop into a team lead role quickly 
• Healthy pipeline of diverse projects

What they are looking for

Our client is looking for an engineer with:

• Demonstrable experience in fire safety engineering, such as performance and alternative design, smoke and egress modelling, evacuation analysis and BCA compliance
• In-depth understanding of the Australian building codes and standards 
• Experience in mentoring junior and graduate engineers, and taking the lead on projects 
• Confidence to communicate with clients and project stakeholders, and attend design and coordination meetings
