Senior Design Engineer (Water/Mechanical/Process)

We are currently recruiting of an engineering design and advisory consultancy business that specialise in complex brownfield water programs and projects, and currently have a long-term engagement working on the Sydney Water P4S contract.

They are now recruiting for a Senior Design Engineer (Mechanical).

Responsibilities of the position will include:

• Development of business case, scope, concept & detailed design documentation as requires
• Development of technical specifications
• Undertake design reviews
• Undertake delivery and commissioning support

Suitable candidates will have:

• A relevant bachelor’s degree
• 6+ years in a relevant field, such as water, wastewater, and process
• Preferably Chartered or working towards obtaining
• Experience in HAZOP, CHAIR, CHAZOP and FMECA processes preferred
• Experience in project management/design management preferred
