Our client is a fast-growing engineering group with a reputation for delivering high end projects across the existing building sector, working with some of the biggest names in corporate real estate, mission critical and industrial property development.
Their service offering ranges across the entire buildings & property lifecycle, from initial advisory, technical diligence and lifecycle forecasting, through to engineering design, project management and asset repositioning.

What are the key responsibilities?
The purpose of this role will be required to provide strategic advice to clients, and lead a variety of projects, autonomously, from inception through to completion. Responsibilities may include:
- Take ownership for the execution/ delivery of projects;
- Design and engineering reviews;
- Develop and maintain cost plans, programs, and meeting minutes;
- Liaise with the client on all matters relating to the project;
- Manage the tender and tender evaluation process;
- Chair PCG meetings on behalf of the client;
- Act as the project Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all matters relating to the project;
- Co-ordinate with third parties to achieve the desired outcome;
- Submit project status reports as agreed with the client;
- Attend site and monitor site progress as well as ensuring the project meets legislative and health and safety requirements;
- Manage all testing and commissioning associated with the project;
- Manage projects defects as required.
What are the key skills required?
- Building Consultancy experience in Building Services (project management and/or consultancy) with a minimum of 6 years’ experience with managing / leading projects;
- A high-level understanding of the entire project life cycle from the concept to completion;
- Ability to develop strong relationships with clients;
- Degree qualified in a related field
- Proven organisational skills – organising your own and other people’s workloads;
- An outgoing personality with the ability to think outside the box;
- Knowledge on relevant Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia.
